If not the architect, at least I’m the resident.
So, it’s time for the Filmwasters Postcard Exchange. I received my postcards a couple of days ago and they printed dark. I’m thinking about trying to reprint them and just gluing them to cardstock. I’m also thinking about shooting something else.
I’m probably the only Filmwaster who frets so much over a postcard. Partially, it’s because there are a lot of photographers there who I admire, partially, it’s because I want to put my best work forward, and rarely does my photography live up to my expectations of myself. So, I struggle a bit. I have about fifteen days to get my act together. In theory, that’s more than enough time to shoot something new, and even print it in the darkroom if I’m going to continue to be so picky.
I wonder if I would be less critical of a worse print done by hand than a better print done online?
